God morgon fredag och hej på er! Nu är helgen äntligen inom räckhåll - skönt! Hur mycket jag än trivs och tycker om min praktikplats där jag arbetstränar så måste jag tillstå att jag blir rätt trött efter jobbet och framåt veckoslutet.
Igår tog jag mig ändå in till Sturegallerian (efter några timmars vila hemma) där jag mötte upp med Natalia. Tillsammans gick vi på ett litet event hos Stylein.
Stylein är ett svenskt märke där ledorden är skandinavisk minimalism med säsongsbunden tillfällig maximalism.
Det var oerhört inspirerande att lyssna till grundaren, Elin Alemedars, tal om hur märket grundades - en berättelse som är långt ifrån en solskenshistoria. Det bevisar bara att om man är tillräckligt målmedveten, arbetar hårt och inte ger upp trots stora bakslag så kan man verkligen lyckas!
Det bjöds på vin och tilltugg, samt 30% rabatt på nya kollektionen och goodiebags från Max Factor. Dessutom gick jag därifrån med en värdecheck som ger mig en gratis hårklippning hos Styleins samarbetspartner. Perfekt då jag verkligen behöver klippa mig!
Med mig hem följde en liten godbit, nämligen sammetstoppen i bränd orange ton som ni ser mig bära. Som ni vet är jag ju förälskad i sammet och oranget!
Idag blir det jobb hemifrån ett par timmar och sedan vankas ännu ett event inne i stan, denna gång tillsammans med Christine.

Anyhow, yesterday I went to Stureplan (after a couple of hours rest at home) to meet up with Natalia. We attended an event hosted by Stylein at their store.
Stylein is a Swedish fashionbrand with the focus on Scandinavian minimalism.
I felt increadibly inspired after listen to the founder of Stylein, Elin Alemedar, talking about the early history and background of Stylein. It's not exactly what you would call a "sunshine story" but it just proves it even more to me: if you're determined to work hard, believe in yourself and don't give up no matter how many setbacks, you can truly achieve your goals!
There was wine served aswell as snacks, a shopping discount of 30% on the new Pre Spring 2018 collection and goodiebags from Max Factor handed out. I also got a value check for a free haircut at a saloon Stylein is working together with, which is perfect since I really need a haircut!
Of course I brought with me a piece from the new collection back home with me: the orange velvet top you see me wear in these photos. I love velvet and I love orange so it couldn't be better!
Today I'm working from home for a few hours and then I'll meet up with Christine for another event in the city.
